About the role
You’ll ensure we continue to deliver against our business activities & committed obligations within our franchise.. Success will be setting out a clear, well-managed programme for achieving these objectives. Being hands-on in the most critical projects, you’ll oversee the management of the rest – tracking progress & keeping ahead of the risks & issues. Throughout, you will ensure robust change management plans are in place & strong engagement with all stakeholders.
About you
This is a demanding, highly visible role and we’re looking for a person with excellent project & programme management skills. A formal qualification such as APM/MSP/Prince2 is essential as is experience of working at a strategic level in a multidisciplinary environment. Excellent leadership & commercial awareness are important.
About us
Our 4,000-strong team provides high-quality rail services. As well as our main franchise – which has recently been renewed until 2015 – we have also been awarded the contract to run the prestigious Gatwick Express service.
