Never forget an action point again!

Spin My Memo

Faced with the usual challenge of recalling numerous thoughts, ideas, tasks and to do lists after a long and traffic fraught trip back from Birmingham I happened upon a mobile accessible new service that seemed to sort the problem. Spin My Memo is a superbly clever service from SpinVox that converts your voice messages into text and – here’s the clever bit (not that converting your voice message to accurate text isn’t clever) – delivers it as an email into your designated email account!

Fantastic!

Using the voice activated option on my mobile device (most have this option now – I am not being flash or bragging) I call up ‘memo’ and leave myself a message. Since it allows up to 3 minutes of voice message there is more than enough time for those quick brain dumps to remind me to action something. The message is then waiting for me to review and action when I get back to base – far better than those old fashioned Dictaphones that require you to listen and transcribe.

Cost – the price of a call.

Definitely worth a trial – go to www.spinvox.com and give it a go. I guarantee you’ll be impressed and I bet you are tempted to try and confound the system with long, rude, difficult words or stupid accents! I did.
